Our Purpose
Everything we do as Bridge Builders is geared towards transforming church culture – those ways of thinking and acting that are part of the fabric of church life, and often go unexamined.

We have four staff members - three work in London and one in Durham.
Associate trainers serve with us on several of our standard training courses.
The core work of our staff consists of runnning a training programme. We also respond to requests for training and help, we maintain a network, and we share resources and ideas.
We maintain an ecumenical network of people who have completed a five-day foundation training course. The network gives them a way of staying in touch, and keeping skills active.
"Bridge Builders" is the working name of a charitable company, Bridge Builders Ministries. It is governed by a group of trustees.
We are supported by a Council of Reference, made up of senior church leaders. As well as endorsing our ministry, they help us to stay in touch with what is happening in the wider church.
Bridge Builders began at the London Mennonite Centre (LMC) in the 1990s. Taking root and growing, it became a separate organisation in 2011.
