Bridge Builders is pleased to announce that the Trustees have appointed Colin Moulds as its next Executive Director.
Colin will succeed the current Director, Alastair McKay, who co-founded Bridge Builders in 1996, originally as part of the London Mennonite Centre. Colin will take up his post in February 2015, with Alastair stepping down in March 2015.
Chris Burch, Chair of Trustees, said: “I am encouraged that we had a strong field of applicants for this position, and I am delighted that Colin Moulds has accepted our invitation to be the next Executive Director of Bridge Builders. Colin brings extensive experience as a trainer and mediator, with the added benefit of being an established member of our Bridge Builders’ Network. So he already has a good grounding in Bridge Builders’ training approach and philosophy. He also has sound business experience, built up while running his own business over recent years, which we will need as we develop Bridge Builders over the coming years.”
Colin Moulds said: “I am excited about the prospect of working with Bridge Builders. I will be looking for us to maintain the high reputation that Bridge Builders has developed for quality and excellence in training and consultancy services. Working with the Trustees, I am also keen to ensure that we secure the financial sustainability of the organisation. I am confident that Bridge Builders can continue to make a transformative impact on the life and health of the churches in Britain, and can carry on equipping lay and ordained leaders for effective ministry.”
Alastair McKay said: “I am so pleased at the appointment of Colin Moulds as Bridge Builders’ next Executive Director. I have every confidence that he will be able to build on the solid foundation we have built over nearly 20 years, and will successfully take Bridge Builders into the next chapter of its development.”
