Curates and Probationary Ministers

We think it is vital that leaders are trained up early on in their ministry to deal better with conflict.  Bridge Builders regularly leads training programmes for recently ordained ministers, with tailored workshops varying from one to three days duration.

CMD for Clergy

Effective leaders are committed to life-long learning.  Bridge Builders designs training to integrate with preferred ways of structuring Continuing Ministerial Development, for example as stand-alone workshops and courses or as part of a conference.

Team Building and Team Working

Many of us work within a team.  Bridge Builders can lead tailor-made training for a variety church teams, at local or regional level.  We would much rather help your team to develop healthy relationships and good working practices now than come to mediate in a crisis later.

Local Church Workshops

Our standard one-day workshop, Making Peace With Conflict in the Church, has proved an eye-opener for lay leaders. It works well if commissioned by a group of local churches, or as part of a training programme for lay ministers.

Other Contexts

Requests come to us along the lines, “I valued the training course I did with you. Could you do something similar for some people that I know?” We are happy to explore fitting what we offer to the needs of a particular group, especially teams and those with leadership responsibilities in Christian organisations.

All of our training is practical in focus, and includes worship and prayer.

Participants normally take home a training manual, to help them build on what they have learned.
