Just Remind Me? Facilitating Conversations in Groups

July 5, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm

| Free

Want to refresh some of the key ideas from TC1?

This short workshop is designed for people who have previously completed a Bridge Builders Transforming Conflict 1/Transforming Church Conflict course. It’s one of a series called Just Remind Me?, offering opportunities to refresh and build on some of the key ideas from the foundation course and embed those ideas in our practice and local context.

Build on the foundation

Finding ways for a group of people to offer different views and for all to contribute, particularly when exploring contentious issues, or difficult decisions is a frequent challenge for leaders.

This short workshop will be an opportunity to refresh some of the keys to effective communication and facilitation and look again at some of the tools and skills which we can draw on to begin to change the culture of group conversations in our churches.

Alongside input on the topic, there will be opportunity to practise some of the skills of facilitation and reflect with others on the particular challenges you face in your context.

Book for this workshop if you found the tools and concepts of communication and group facilitation introduced in the foundation course helpful, and if you would like to build on these as you work with groups in your own context.
