The Bridge Builders Bursary Committee (a committee of members of the Board of Trustees) considers all applications and decides if an offer can be made.
- Bursaries of up to 50% of the cost of residential course fees are offered subject to meeting qualification criteria and availability of funds.
- Applicants already in receipt of a charitable grant or other financial assistance towards the course fee are required to pay not less than 20% of the course fee.
Bridge Builders bursaries are not available:
- for one day workshops;
- if a Bridge Builders bursary was awarded in the period of 3 years prior to the date of the course for which the bursary is applied for;
- if an applicant has savings or other assets (excluding value of main residence) which are not earmarked for a particular purpose (deemed satisfactory by Bursary Committee, e.g. education, savings towards house for retirement) valued at more than £20,000.
